Expect to take home about 125 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You will need about 4 cubic feet of freezer space.
Approximate Total Cost:
$4.50*185 lbs (hanging weight) + $50 (ID sales tax) + $170 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$1,100
$200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards the total cost. Due within one week of ordering.
Half Beef
$2,000 for 245 lbs of beef
Details:
$4.25/lb hanging weight
Expect to take home about 245 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You will need about 7 cubic feet of freezer space.
Approximate Total Cost:
$4.25*400 lbs (hanging weight) + $95 (ID sales tax)+ $330 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$2,000
$300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards the total cost. Due within one week of ordering.
Whole Beef
$3,600 for 460 lbs of beef
Details:
$4.00/lb hanging weight
Expect to take home about 460 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You should plan for about 14 cubic feet of freezer space for a whole beef.
Approximate Total Cost:
$4.00*700 lbs (hanging weight) + $165 (ID sales tax) + 625 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$3,600
$500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards the total cost. Due within one week of ordering.
