Beef Share Process

We are accepting 2025 beef orders! Beef will be ready September–October.

Pay your deposit to reserve your spot. If you’d prefer to mail a check, email us at: info@prattfamilybeef.com

  • Quarter: $200 deposit

  • Half: $300 deposit

  • Whole: $500 deposit

We’ll let you know your specific harvest date (typically September–October) and we’ll arrange your beef delivery. The butchers will call you to customize how you’d like your beef cut and packaged.

Pay Pratt Family Beef your remaining balance and pay the butchers for processing the meat.

Pick up your beef from Blackfoot, or at our drop-off locations in Boise, ID, Twin Falls, ID, Salt Lake City, UT, or Jackson, WY.

Quarter Beef

$1,100 for 140 lbs of beef

Details:

$4.50/lb hanging weight

Expect to take home about 140 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You will need about 4 cubic feet of freezer space.

Approximate Total Cost:

$4.50*200 lbs (hanging weight) + ID sales tax + $170 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$1,100.00

$200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards the total cost. Due within one week of ordering.

Half Beef

$2,100 for 280 lbs of beef

Details:

$4.25/lb hanging weight

Expect to take home about 280 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You will need about 8 cubic foot of freezer space.

Approximate Total Cost:

$4.25*400 lbs (hanging weight) + ID sales tax+ $320 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$2,100

$300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards the total cost. Due within one week of ordering.

Whole Beef

$3,700 for 500 lbs of beef

Details:

$4.00/lb hanging weight

Expect to take home about 500 lbs of packaged meat, depending on the size of the animal. You should plan for about 16 cubic feet of freezer space for a whole beef.

Approximate Total Cost:

$4.00*750 lbs (hanging weight) + ID sales tax + $590 (harvest, cut, and wrap) = ~$3,700
